I have now gone to two tea classes at 981 and they were both fantastic! Robert is a great teacher - I've learned so much. He also went above and beyond in showing me how to use my new fancy tea kettle. I look forward to going back again and again.

We had an amazing experience at 981 Tea Shop! We had no prior experience with loose leaf tea and honestly thought we might be overwhelmed trying to figure it out. We were wrong! Robert was incredibly helpful and took time to educate us so we could make informed decisions. His approach of teaching customers made it exciting and fun. We highly recommend visiting - even if you don’t currently drink tea, it’s a beautiful shop and I feel like it has options for everyone.

I had the most amazing time at 981 Tea shop today!!! The staff was so nice and welcoming and Robert is very knowledgeable.... I will be returning and may even join a class. Amazing shop 💚🌻💐.

I have loved the addition of this shop to the community. Robert is always helpful and will even do research to help you if need be. It’s a miracle he’s made this coffee drinker be so interested in tea! I’ve taken his classes every month. They are always fun and very educational. If you’re wanting a new place to get delicious loose leaf tea, find a health remedy, shop for gifts, or just find a friendly face, then this is the place!

This a real gem of a place! The whole shop atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. As for the folks that work there, they are so helpful and knowledgeable, no pressure, just want to help if they can. This is exactly the experience the area needs, people passionate about what they do and share. There are Herbal Tea classes, which help to pass on how to get the most from herbal teas. By the look of the class bookings these are really popular and obviously meet a rear desire in the folks visiting. I think I may be late to the party in finding them but will be a regular now!
